CUSTOMER

The younger generation is growing and developing much faster every year than their parents, grandparents, and even great-grandparents. They are more and more eager to express themselves, because in the modern world they see that dreams do become reality, and many become artists, actors and bloggers.

DoReMiWorld is a start-up company in the education market. It released a series of interactive educational mobile games, designed to teach music theory, and a web portal to connect students, teachers and their parents.

Objective

It is never too late to become involved in music, especially before you come of age. The app will teach you how to recognize and read the notes, adapting to your parameters. The purpose of the app will be exactly that you can learn all those basics or raise all your skills. You can do this with a teacher, with a parent, or on your own without any help, because the younger generation, as we all know, is growing up to be more independent and more intelligent.

Challenges

iPads and Android tablets are being used in more and more schools each year. Attracting children, these devices can be very useful in teaching young apprentices. The objective of the first iPad game is to teach note recognition and improve sight-reading skills. On the other side, it is an interactive web based system, which allows parents of music students who take private lessons to monitor their children’s progress. Parents and music teachers have access to homework practice assignments, lesson notes, repertoire, calendars, and other features that we are planning to introduce going forward.

Solution

A fun to learn, attractive mobile game was developed for iOS and Android platforms. It works for students of various levels – from beginner to advanced, helping to learn note names. It is also flexible, offering several options so that you can customize the game to your needs (level, age, instrument, clef, mode, speed etc.). It supports the MIDI interface and will allow note detection through a microphone for an acoustic piano.

In addition to mobile gaming products, there is also a a web portal to connect students, teachers and their parents. Homework assignments and results, parent control, multilanguage, individual/school modes, scoring are among the multiple portal features.
